Refund & Cancellation Policy

last updated: July 13, 2026

The short version: cancel anytime and your access runs to the end of the period you paid for. Because of the nature of learning content we can't guarantee refunds for a started period - but if something went wrong, write to us and our support team will do everything possible to help. The details follow.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any moment from the Account page (Manage billing). Cancelling stops all future charges; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing else changes until then. There is no cancellation fee and no one to argue with.

Refunds for a started period

Because of the nature of learning content, we can't refund a subscription period that has already started: the diagnostic, verifications, coaching, and voice interviews deliver their value from the first minute of the period, and knowledge can't be returned.

This is why cancellation always works mid-period: you keep what you paid for until the period ends, and simply aren't charged again. And if your case doesn't fit neatly into a policy, write to us anyway - our support team reads everything and will do what it can.

The 14-day withdrawal right and your checkout consent

EU consumer law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, and lets you waive it for digital services delivered immediately (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)). At checkout you tick a consent that does exactly that: you request immediate access to the subscription and acknowledge losing the withdrawal right. Without that consent the purchase cannot complete.

When we do refund

Some situations are simply on us, and we refund them without ceremony:

  • A duplicate or clearly erroneous charge.
  • We failed to deliver access to what you paid for and couldn't fix it within a reasonable time.
  • Anything where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country requires a refund - nothing in this policy limits those rights.

How to request one

Email bogdan@gapmap.dev from the address on your account, with the charge date and what went wrong. Eligible refunds go back to the original payment method; processing time then depends on your bank, typically 5-10 business days.
